SONY Classical artist and JUNO award-winning Canadian violinist, Alexandre Da Costa, has been appointed new Artistic Director and Chief Conductor of the Orchestre Symphonique de Longueuil, in Montreal, beginning from the opening concert of the 2019/20 season on October 3 this year.

Da Costa continues in his role as Artistic Director of the Festival International des Hautes-Laurentides (Quebec), held since 2012 and as violin soloist, with performances and touring worldwide, with his next tour to Australia in November 2019, including concerts at City Recital Hall Angel Place, with Willoughby Symphony Orchestra, Zelman Symphony Orchestra and with the Orava Quartet.
